Flatiron.
Built in 1902, took its name from its resemblance to a cast-iron clothing iron. The building sits on a triangular block formed by Fifth Avenue to the west, Broadway to the east, and East 22nd Street to the south. The drawing depicts the 5th Avenue facade. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989 and a New York City Landmark in 1966.
