KHA 01 | Freedom Square
KHA 01 | Freedom Square
Earlier today, the Kharkiv Regional State Administration building was attacked.
This is a huge loss for humanity. Not because of its tangible value lost, but because of the cost of lives lost and what this represents. Buildings are functional constructions made mainly for protection, but they are also symbols. Those symbols become powerful in telling stories and critical to re-telling history. Today, this building was physically affected by a nonsense war, but the reality is that millions of souls - Ukrainian or not- are being bombarded.
This building stands broken at the Freedom Square in Kharkiv. Much the same as freedom is being attacked. Part of Ukrainian history is being lost today, but we can still try and maintain it. Memory is a strong tool of advocacy. This is for the people fighting for freedom and standing proud against enemies like this building is.
All preceding of this sale will be directed towards finding Ukrainian refugees a roof and avsafe place to stay through Airbnb.org/helpUkraine
