We were asked to do a multi functional piece of furniture, we needed to do a cheap project with what we had, to do something that we could use. We asked ourselves how to do it in a way that goes accordingly with our current way of living. When I say we, I refer to my project partner, a Mexican hot chili eater, and me a Colombian. Both students living in São Paulo: the most expensive city in Latin America. Starting from there, we needed to do a cheap project with what we had, to do something that we could use. We decided to go to our neighborhood park in Higienopolis, Parque Buenos Aires and look for a good old piece of natural and un-industrialized piece of wood. We found these beautiful branches at the park's garbage and we decided to restore them. We then proceed to assemble the vertical night stand. The finished project measures 1,70m high and needs about one meter round depending on the side. We included a 6 meter cord cable with silicone socket and a filament light bulb; a small flower pot covered in cloth and a hole to hold the cables of a laptop or a phone.
